On the Correspondence Between Visual and Gustatory Perception

In this essay I propose understanding the relation between vision and taste as a relation of correspondence. With this term, I mean the ongoing and continuous exchange between the two senses, as in a postal correspondence: questioning and answering. I sketch this theory through two cases: wine labels and food photography.
